West Coast Social Erding | June 2023

West Coast Social Erding 2023

Workshop Weekend mit Cl'Evi & J'Em (June, 9th - 11th 2023)

Trainer

Clement Turpain

Clement has been dancing WCS since 2014 and competes in WSDC J&J All-Star Division. His musical education and his background in solo dances, such as Contemporary, Bellet, Hip-Hop and Pole Dance helped him to develop a distinct sense for musicality and creativity, which naturally carries over to his couple dance. Clement is a popular social dancer and manages to archive a special connection with every partner while dancing.

Evgenia Itkina

Evi discovered WCS in 2013 and has been a passionate Westi ever since. By now she has reached WSDC Advanced Devision in J&J. She has been dancing for almost her whole life and finished her education as professional show dancer in modern dances in 2011. From this point on she has been working as a freelance choreograph, show dancer and dance instructor. Evi incorporates many elements from her diverse dance background, including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Contact Improvisation, into her style of WCS.

Emeline Rochefeuille

For Emeline, music and dance have always been key pillars of her heritage and identity. She entered the competitive dance world at the age of 12 with Ballroom dancing at Verodanse Studio. In 2009, as Emeline sought to start a new dance form, she bumped into a video of Jordan & Tatiana, and felt drawn to West Coast Swing right away.

The end of 2016 marked the beginning of her partnership with Jakub and the adventure she threw herself into as full-time nomad professional dancer.

Jakub Jakoubek

Jakubs first baby dancing steps were on the rhythm of ballroom Latin music. Although he loved its drill and discipline, he was lacking improvisation. That’s where social dancing got him and, until now, has never let him go. Jakub has had the opportunity to taste Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. Life treated him with surprises… so when he started his university studies, he met modern dance along with Brazilian Zouk.

His main impulse for West Coast Swing came in 2014, when he met Maxence Martin at a crossover event in his dance school. Since then he’s grateful to be on this wonderful ride of his life.
